230 Cyclists will Enliven Tour de Flores 2016 |

After Tour de Ijen is the wealth of Banyuwangi, now Flores will be explored in the Tour de Flores 2016. Wrapped event with sport tourism will introduce a variety of tourist destinations on the island of Flores and is expected to repeat the success of the Tour de Singkarak in West Sumatra and planned to take place on May 16-26, 2016.
Tour de Flores will exploring the island in five stages. Start from Stage 1 (Larantuka-Maumere), Stage 2 (Maumere-Ende), Stage 3 (Ende-Bajawa), Stage 4 (Bajawa-Ruteng), stage 5 (Ruteng-Labuan Bajo). At each stage, participants will see a variety of tourist potential of the area, for example Kelimutu lake in Ende or village of Bena in Bajawa. Total along Larantuka to Labuan Bajo will discover participant Tour de Flores.
Currently has ongoing pre-event activities through visits of tourist destinations Kelimutu until May 18, 2016. Furthermore, the main event of the Tour de Flores and fun bike as a supporting event will be held on May 19-23, while post-event activities such as a visit to Komodo National Park and Pink Beach held on May 24-26, 2016. In the main event later, all participants will be greeted number of ministers and ambassadors.
Participants of the Tour de Flores consists from international cyclists who are members of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the national cyclists and cyclists from NTT. Total participants overall is 230 people. Dozens of international cyclists are invited to enliven competition and promote the beauty of Flores.
