International tourism market "Beyond Bali Travel Fair" (BBTF) will be held on 11 to June 14, 2014 at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) in Nusa Dua and Beachwalk in Kuta, Bali. The event is titled "Getaway to Indonesia's Creative Tourism" and is the first time held.
"BBTF expected to become a means to promote destinations in Indonesia than Bali. Here Bali became a trigger to attract tourists," said Tourism Marketing Director General of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Esthy Reko Astuti, at a press conference in Jakarta, Thursday (17 / 4/2014).
Chief Organizer BBTF Bali, Ketut Ardana, said that BBTF should be used by other regions to promote the potential of their respective regions.
"From Bali we expect tourists to visit other destinations in Indonesia, so get to know the diversity of natural and cultural attractiveness of the country," said Ketut.
In BBTF 2014, will be attended by 450 local sellers as well as 350 domestic and international buyers from 55 countries. According to Tim BBTF Committee, Tanto, until now there have been approximately 441 sellers who participate in BBTF, including 75 hotels and resorts, tour operators 354, 13 tourist attractions, and 2 government agencies.
Implementation BBTF 2014 will be divided into two sessions, each for two days. The first session was held in BNDCC involving buyers to buyers (B2B), which the buyers can exchange information. The second session involving buyers to consumers (B2C) will take place at Beachwalk, Kuta, Bali.
"At Beachwalk, BBTF be directly in contact with tourists. Here also are shown dancing and attractions of the areas that are outside of Bali," said Tanto.
Tanto also added, some areas have been declared to facilitate buyers who would like to see the potential of the area.
"Buyers are coming mostly from Europe, it is important for other areas if it is to promote tourism," said Tanto.
