Denpasar, Bali growing list of international awards again, after crowned as the Best Island in Asia 2014 by
Travel + Leisure magazine based in New York, United States.
The assessment given by the natural beauty of the beach, variety of activities, variety of restaurants and types of food, friendly people and value for money.
Not only won the category for best island in Asia, Bali also awarded Hall of Fame World's Best Award, because it always makes the top 10 categories of best island in the world for six consecutive years.
This year, in the category of best island in the world, Bali was ranked fifth, losing to the Hawaiian Islands, and the island of Santorini, Greece. In 2013, Bali is only ranked third best island in Asia.
The award was handed over to the provincial government of Bali by the tourism stakeholders in the Governor's Office in Denpasar. According to the Chairman of the Indonesian Tourism Industry Association (GIPI) Bali IB Ngurah Wijaya, actually won the award on July 24, but now a new submitted to the provincial government of Bali.

Wijaya invite all parties committed to protecting the culture and tourism in Bali to avoid getting damaged. He also requested the participation of the government and tourism players to keep the wealth of tourism promotion through the allocation of the budget.
Meanwhile, Sudikerta claimed the award shows that committed promote tourism among tourism. He urged tourism players with good industrial building. In particular, the former vice-regent of Badung is asking all parties to maintain the security that influence the development of tourism industry.
