Beautiful 'Ember' Along the Bay of Fires

According to Wikipedia, a local name for this bay is larapuna. But better known in foreign countries with the name Bay of Fires. The bay with beautiful views is located in the northeastern coast of Tasmania, one of the states of Australia. 

Bay of Fires extends from Binalong Bay to Eddystone Point. North bay is part of the Mount William National Park, while the south is a conservation area. The scenery is beautiful, with white sand, blue sea, and that makes it special is granite rocks along the beach were covered with bright orange color. When viewed from near the new look that the orange color is a kind of lichens attached to the surface of the stone.

The bay got its name in 1773 from Captain Tobias Furneaux. Rocks on the beach of this bay are covered in orange color reminiscent the captain will be a bonfire embers in one of the Aboriginal rituals that took place in the beach.

Now the Bay of Fires to be one of mainstay tourist attractions of Tasmania over the past decades. According Visits St. Helen, in 2009, Lonely Planet was even named the Bay of Fire as the second best beach in the world.
