Hundreds of divers will enliven the
Buleleng Bali Dive Festival (BBF) held in the village of Pemuteran, October 23 to 26 2015, Pemuteran is about 48 kilometers from the center of
Lovina. Hundreds of divers will follow a number of different events during the festival.
BBDF claimed as the first submarine festival coupled with cultural arts activities in Indonesia. No wonder if BBDF gets rave reviews from tourists, mainly originating from Australia and the European continent.
Data on the Department of Fisheries and Marine Buleleng show until Tuesday (13/10/2015), there were already 376 people divers who register the event. Some of them follow the underwater cultural attractions, treasure hunt, conservation and underwater photography. Until now most in demand was indeed underwater photography and art and cultural attractions.
BBDF deliberately held for the first time, in the hope of promoting maritime potential, particularly coral reefs in Buleleng. Moreover, efforts to conserve the coral reefs of Buleleng has received worldwide recognition, either by the institution maintainer world's coral reefs, as well as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The purpose of this event was to demonstrate the potential of Buleleng rich coral reefs. Buleleng society could do a community-based conservation, after having broken a few years ago. People can also feel the direct impact on conservation efforts they are doing. One of them is to bring tourists to
dive.
The plan in the sub festival, will be held a number of activities. One of the activities designed are traditional dance performances by divers under the sea. Traditional dance performances that are expected to attract the lovers of diving, because it has not been done before.
