Egypt has asked the United States to urge Israel to stop its offensive against Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip. Egypt remind that violence from the Israeli offensive against Hamas militants in Gaza is likely to become unmanageable. Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement issued Thursday that Foreign Minister Mohammed Amr spoke with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton the night before, asking for immediate U.S. intervention to stop the Israeli aggression.Israel pounded the Gaza Strip on Wednesday (14/11) with air strikes and artillery attacks, Hamas military commander and killed 10 militants and Palestinian civilians, in an attempt to stop rocket attacks from Islamist militants in the region.
