Ever watched the legendary film, Kera SaktiThe Monkey King? The main actor was a monkey Sun Go Kong trapped in the five fingers mountains for 500 years. Apparently, these are real mountains.
A culmination of this region is famous for the nickname Five Fingers where there are peaks that resemble five fingers which is also part Huangshizhai mountains.
Five finger mountain region is in the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, which is known as the historical center of plants and flowers, as well as a place protected forest conservation. For this reason, the region became one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in China since 1992.
Wulingyuan area became famous for more than three thousand pillars of sand quartzite rocks appear here. Most of the entry in the historic and cultural sites. The altitude reaches 200 meters above sea level, no wonder a lot of ravines and gorges in between these rocks.
