"Goa Gala" In nusa Lembongan Island |

Goa Gala is unique underground house that located in Nusa Lembongan Island,
Lembongan islet one of a row of three islands located in the southeast of Bali,
the Nusa Penida,
Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. If you visit the island of
Nusa Lembongan then you can visit Goa Gala,
an artificial cave that is quite unique in the island. These caves are underground in the limestone found in the island of Nusa Lembongan. Uniquely,
this cave is home to a hermit named Made Vyasa made for about 15 years with simple equipment.
In 1961 to 1976 a hermit named Made Vyasa made caves in the limestone burrows on the island of Nusa Lembongan. Work Made Vyasa is a puppeteer, a farmer and also a hermit. Made Vyasa makes Cave Gala for more than 15 years using very basic equipment at that time, namely a crowbar. He dug this cave as a home to live underground in burrows limestone.
Like the house in general, in the residence Made Vyasa there are a living room, two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and two wells. Because it is in limestone, the whole room has a wall of limestone. The area of the underground house is about 500 square meters. To get into the cave there are seven entrances. This cave also has three ventilation holes for air circulation in the artificial cave.
The entrance to the Goa Gala quite narrow and had to go down to the basement with stairs depth of approximately 2 meters. In Goa Gala you can navigate the underground house is in a fairly dark hallway.
