Looking The Colorful Terrace in Dongchuan |

There is a natural beauty that is hidden in Yunnan Province, China. Exactly 250 km northeast Kunning, there are views of the countryside with red ground named Dongchuan impressive.
Terracing Dongchuan has a dominant color from red-brown soil types rich in iron and copper. Because the climate of Yunnan relatively warm and moist, the iron content found in soil Dongchuan which then undergoes oxidation to form iron oxide which is naturally red.
The oxide process accumulated over the years, and gradually developed into a beautiful reddish brown soil. Every year during the spring, when the farm was plowed, many visitors and photographers who come there to take pictures of the stunning terraces.
The beauty of Dongchuan initially unknown to the outside world, until the mid-1990s, there was a Chinese photographer who happened to come to that place and spreading information about the whereabouts of the terracing. The story continues and now a growing number of photographers who came to Dongchuan.
