Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson called his team have demonstrated a winning mentality appearance as a dramatic 4-3 win over Newcastle United in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Wednesday (26/12) evening hrs.
The Magpies were able three times ahead of the host, but scored the winning goal Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez at the end of the game make the Red Devils earned three points.
With this victory, United comfortably on top of the Premier League standings by seven points clear of Manchester City, who lost 1-0 in the other match of the host Sunderland.
Fergie was disappointed with a number of adverse refereeing team in the Boxing Day match.
"I think it was a bad decision on an own goal. If you look again, he [Papiss Cissé] was trapped off-side and he was on hand Jonny Evans. Considered impaired if it is not, then what is it interference?" said Ferguson told BBC Sport after the match.
"December is always a big month. We lost two points at Swansea, but it could pay off today. It was a real championship performance."
