Subak Museum is a special museum, on the agricultural system in Bali. Before discussing more about Subak Museum, it would be nice we know what it Subak? Subak is a community organization that specifically regulate irrigation system used in rice cultivation in Bali and has now become one of the cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO.

The museum was founded with the aim to explore, rescue, securing and collecting all the data and objects associated with the Subak especially agliculture. Besides that history museum is also used as a variety of information, education and documentation of Subak as well as a tourist destination. Subak itself is a Balinese farmer organizations that regulate and maintain agricultural irrigation systems.

Subak Museum distinctively self-reliance on the eternal foundation of Tri Hita Krana namely:
Parahyangan: man's relationship with God.
Pawongan: man's relationship with man.
Palemahan: human relationship with the natural surroundings.

Subak Museum consists of several parts, including a parent museum, the museum is open and the main building. In the museum there is a building or complex holding sacred the Padmasana, Bedugul and others. Spatial and building layout adapted to the surrounding environment by sticking to the traditional development: Tri Mandala, Tri Angga and Asta Kosala Kosali. Subak Museum is located at Jalan Gatot Subroto, Banjar Anyar, district of Kediri Tabanan about 1 hour drive from Ngurah Rai Airport.
